Village of Hope Community Development Corporation
The Village of Hope Community Development Corporation is a non-profit development organizaiton established in 2001. The CDC was formed by community members, residents of the are formerly know as Roosevelt Village in Columbia, SC.
The purpose of the CDC is to promote economic development through job creation, small business development and improvement in the quality of life within the community, especially in the area of housing.
The CDC uses as asset approach to community development focusing on the knowledge, resources and skills available within the community.
"Our Community has been renamed the Village at Rivers Edge".
